ABOUT

The Age of Indie is an independent publication and resource hub for indie entrepreneurs, bootstrapped founders, consultants, designers, and marketers. We exist to help solo makers and small teams find the software, playbooks, and services they need to build and grow a business without a large budget or headcount.

Everything we publish is written from the perspective of people who ship on their own terms. Our tool reviews are hands-on and opinionated, our guides are step-by-step, and our resource directories are curated rather than exhaustive — we would rather point you to the handful of options actually worth your time than list everything on the internet.

We cover the full journey of an independent business: validating an idea, choosing a software stack, launching a product, finding your first customers, and marketing on a shoestring. Categories include SaaS and productivity tools, design and marketing software, entrepreneurship guides, and audience-specific hubs for the roles our readers work in.

The Age of Indie is reader-first. When we recommend a product we explain why, who it is for, and where it falls short. If you have a tool, story, or piece of feedback you think our community should see, we would genuinely like to hear from you.
